Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status. The budget must include intern salaries of at least $15 per hour and state whether benefits are provided. Internships required for a degree program and receiving academic credit are generally not funded. Administrative costs may not exceed 10%.
Deadline: Applications are accepted annually from June 16 through September 15. Applicants are notified by November 1, and funds are provided before January 1 of the following year.
