A.A. Van Elslander Foundation Annual Grant Program (Annual Inquiry Window)
Who can apply: Organizations must be tax-exempt public charities under Section 501(c)(3), located in Michigan and serving Michigan communities. Applicants must not discriminate based on age, creed, ethnicity, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation. The foundation does not award grants to individuals, most capital projects (unless initiated by the foundation), fundraising events/conferences, K-12/secondary/universities, lobbying/political campaigns, units of government, or veterans organizations. Faith-based organizations may be considered only if initiated by the foundation.
Deadline: Inquiries accepted September 1 - September 30 annually. Qualifying inquiring organizations invited to apply by October 31. Grant notifications by November 30; grants issued by December 31.
