The Inspirata Foundation concentrates nearly all of its giving on a single overseas beneficiary in Honduras, routing the vast majority of its budget to that affiliate or project. Grants are described simply as donations/program support, indicating direct charitable support for operations or programs in Honduras rather than a diversified grantmaking portfolio. The foundation appears to operate as a small private funder focused on one geographic mission rather than broad domestic philanthropy.
Highly concentrated: very few grants (three total) with two repeat payments to the same Honduras affiliate, representing the vast majority of total giving; grants are modest in number but sizable in amount for a small foundation.
A single overseas beneficiary in Tegucigalpa accounts for most of Inspirata Foundation’s recent grantmaking. The foundation’s largest awards go to Inspirata Foundation Hondurs and related Inspirata Honduras entries, showing a tightly focused pattern of support rather than a broad portfolio. Its 2024 gift of $144,844 and 2025 gift of $47,042 to the Tegucigalpa-based affiliate sit alongside other sizable payments in the same orbit, including a $32,683 donation and smaller restricted-purpose awards for kitchen equipment, equipment, and security cameras. That mix points to direct support for program operations and capital needs. Beyond the Honduras-centered grants, the foundation also makes smaller gifts to a limited set of U.S. organizations and individuals, including Orphanos Foundation in Cordova, Tennessee, and Fundacion Hondurena Ninos con Cance in Guillen Zelaya. The overall picture is of a small private funder with concentrated charitable relationships and recurring support for the same affiliated project over multiple years.
Inspirata Foundation’s clearest thematic thread is support for a Honduras-based project platform. It gave $7,091 in 2023 to Inspirata Honduras in Tegucigalpa for kitchen equipment, then followed with a $5,494 equipment grant and a $1,164 security cameras grant to the same recipient. That pattern suggests funding for facilities and operations rather than general awareness work. The foundation also makes academic scholarship awards: Living Hope for Honduras in La Grange, Georgia received $500 in 2025 for academic scholarship, and Africa Freedom Mission in Summerville, South Carolina received $200 for the same purpose. A separate education-related gift went to Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for academic scholarship. In health-related giving, the foundation awarded $5,000 to Fundacion Hondurena Ninos con Cance in Guillen Zelaya.
Inspirata Foundation’s typical grant size is small, with a p25 of $200, a median of $5,000, and a p75 of $7,091. The distribution is highly skewed by a few large gifts, while many awards sit at the low end. The recent record also shows repeated support across multiple years for the same Honduras-linked recipient family, indicating an ongoing relationship rather than one-off project funding. The foundation funds individuals as well as organizations, and the grants include donations, gifts, academic scholarships, and restricted-purpose equipment support. No program-related investments are listed.
