About Colorado Knights of Columbus Charities Fund
Colorado Knights of Columbus Charities Fund Inc’s grantmaking is shaped by three recurring themes: pregnancy-center equipment, support for people with developmental disabilities, and Catholic program support. In the recent grants list, the largest awards went to pregnancy resource centers for ultrasound machines, including Boulder Pregnancy Resource Center in Lafayette, Steamboat Springs Pregnancy Center, and Pregnancy Resource Center in Glenwood Springs. Those gifts show a pattern of direct-service support tied to maternal and prenatal care access. The foundation also funds disability-serving organizations. Special Olympics Colorado in Centennial received two of the larger recent grants for developmental-disabilities programming, alongside smaller awards to organizations such as Carron Coffee House Association and St Joseph Kaffee House Co Kofc Council 7880. Another visible lane is Catholic parish and ministry support, including grants to Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton and Knights of Columbus state-level entities for broader Catholic programming. The fund is tied to Colorado Knights of Columbus charitable activity and reflects a state-council model that combines fundraising, pass-through giving, and designated program support.
