About Barbara & Haim Dabah Family Foundation
Barbara & Haim Dabah Family Foundation Inc’s recent giving is defined by large, unrestricted support for Ramaz, the Modern Orthodox day school in Manhattan. The foundation gave Ramaz $328,000 in 2025, following $220,000 in 2024 and $150,000 in 2023, a pattern that shows repeated backing rather than a one-time gift. Alongside that school support, the foundation has made sizable unrestricted grants to Jewish congregations in New York and nearby New Jersey, including Congregation Edmond J Safra and Congregation Ohel Yishak of Allenhurst. Its grant list also includes recurring support for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital F, showing that the foundation is not limited to one institution type even though Jewish communal organizations account for much of its visible activity. The grants are generally unrestricted charitable-purpose awards, which suggests flexible support for recipient operations and programming rather than project-specific funding. With annual grants of more than $2 million and a small asset base on file, the foundation appears to deploy substantial cash flow through a concentrated set of relationships.
