The Alice Kleberg Reynolds Meyer Foundation concentrates its philanthropy on a single beneficiary: the Special Forces Charitable Trust. Grants are unrestricted and appear intended to support the general operations or broad mission of that military-focused nonprofit, suggesting the foundation prioritizes the wellbeing of Special Forces veterans, their families, and related programs. The foundation is based in San Antonio, a major military community, which aligns with its sole funding choice.
Highly concentrated giving: all recorded grants (three) went to a single recipient totaling $600,000 as unrestricted support. The foundation favors repeat, sizable gifts to one core grantee rather than distributing funds across many organizations.
Alice Kleberg Reynolds Meyer Foundat A0479800 has given the same unrestricted $200,000 grant to Special Forces Charitable Trust in 2023, 2024, and 2025, making that organization the clearest window into the foundation’s priorities. The repeated support points to a long-running commitment to Special Forces veterans, their families, and the broader Special Operations community, rather than project-by-project philanthropy. Its giving also reaches beyond one beneficiary, with unrestricted awards to Texas institutions and advocacy organizations across San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston, and beyond. The foundation’s recent pattern suggests a portfolio built around organizational strength: operating support, broad mission support, and flexible funding. Alongside military-related giving, it has backed reproductive health organizations, university foundations, arts groups, immigration legal services, and community nonprofits. Several recipients appear more than once across multiple years, reinforcing the sense of sustained relationships rather than isolated gifts. The largest grants sit at $200,000, while many other awards fall in the $35,000 to $100,000 range, showing a mix of anchor support and smaller recurring commitments.
Military-focused support is the foundation’s defining thread. It gave $200,000 in 2025 to Special Forces Charitable Trust for unrestricted support, continuing a three-year pattern with the same beneficiary. In reproductive health, the foundation gave $100,000 in 2025 to Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, and it also supported Planned Parenthood South Texas with $60,000 in 2023 and $50,000 in 2024. These awards were unrestricted, indicating flexible support rather than project-specific funding. Its civic and cultural grants include $65,000 to Esperanza Peace & Justice Center in 2023 and $45,000 to Fuerza Unida in 2023, both in San Antonio. The foundation also supported higher education and student-related work through grants such as $60,000 to University of Texas Foundation No 2 in 2024 and $52,500 to University of Texas Foundation in 2025.
Typical grants cluster in a relatively narrow band: the p25 is $5,000, the median is $8,000, and the p75 is $15,000. That distribution sits alongside a smaller set of much larger unrestricted awards, including repeated $200,000 and $100,000 grants. The pattern is recurring, not one-off: Special Forces Charitable Trust, Delta Kilo Foundation, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Planned Parenthood South Texas, and The Ann Richards School Foundation each appear in multiple years. Alice Kleberg Reynolds Meyer Foundat A0479800 is a regular funder, not a DAF, and it does not fund individuals or make program-related investments.
