A.A. Van Elslander Foundation Annual Grant Program (Annual Inquiry Window)
¿Quién puede postularse? Organizations must be nonprofit entities qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, located within Michigan and benefiting Michigan communities. Grants must serve charitable purposes and public benefit, and organizations may not discriminate based on age, creed, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The foundation generally does not fund capital projects unless initiated by the Foundation, fundraising events or conferences, individuals, K-12 schools, secondary schools or universities, lobbying or political campaigns, religious purposes unless initiated by the Foundation, units of government, or veterans organizations.
Fecha límite: Grant inquiries are accepted annually from September 1 through September 30. If September 30 falls on a Saturday or Sunday, inquiries are accepted through 5:00 p.m. the following Monday. Qualifying organizations are invited to apply by October 31; grant notifications are made by November 30; grants are issued by December 31.
