What we know: D-Prize funds new ventures distributing proven poverty interventions at scale, across tracks like maternal health, immunization, reading glasses, and water treatment. The program targets organizations with less than 18 months of operations and under $30,000 raised. Average award is $16,000.

Realistic fit: early-stage social ventures in LMICs proposing a distribution model for a specific, evidence-backed intervention.

Note on a third program we reviewed: the New Venture Fund for Global Health Agencies & Funds (up to $250,000, rolling) is real and open, but eligibility is limited to WHO, UNICEF, the Global Fund, World Bank health funds, Unitaid, and organizations that directly support those agencies.
