Who can apply: Organizations must be nonprofit entities qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, located within Michigan and benefiting Michigan communities. Grants must serve charitable purposes and public benefit, and organizations may not discriminate based on age, creed, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The foundation generally does not fund capital projects unless initiated by the Foundation, fundraising events or conferences, individuals, K-12 schools, secondary schools or universities, lobbying or political campaigns, religious purposes unless initiated by the Foundation, units of government, or veterans organizations.
Who can apply: Awards grants only to organizations tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and engaged in educational, charitable, and religious (parochial schools) activities. The Foundation generally does not entertain requests from nonprofits lacking a prior funding relationship, and no proposal will be considered without prior consultation with the President of the Foundation or designee. Individual applicants are not eligible.
Who can apply: Requests for grants must come from organizations that are tax-exempt under IRS Section 501(c)(3). The foundation’s normal policy is not to make gifts toward annual or operational expenses.
Who can apply: Applicants must be organizations exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) and not classified as private foundations. Funding supports organizational activities occurring during the 2027 calendar year. Proposals should demonstrate a plan to strengthen operations, effective leadership and governance, continuous improvement, mission alignment, and opportunities for volunteer involvement.
Who can apply: Only nonprofit organizations with 501(c) status and school or school-related organizations are eligible. Projects must benefit communities in Pocahontas, Randolph, or Webster counties, West Virginia. Applications must be complete and legible and include the most recent audited financial statement or an explanation and the most recent Form 990, plus a list of board members, executive leadership, and other key personnel or volunteers involved in the project. Funding is not available for private benefits, retroactive costs, ongoing operational costs, conferences, forums, workshops, or loans. Final reports must be submitted before applying for another grant, and recipients must publicly recognize the Foundation's support.
