The Foundation does not fund religious organizations, political efforts, or school-system clubs/entities such as boosters or PTAs. Organizations that have applied must wait 12 months before reapplying. Organizations cannot receive both a UFG Foundation grant and UFG sponsorship dollars in the same year.

Preference is given to small organizations and newer organizations approaching a breakthrough moment. Organizations with annual operating budgets over $3 million are seldom funded. Organizations that have received Ramlose Foundation funding for three consecutive years are not eligible to apply in 2026.
