Foundation grants are not provided to individuals, trips or tours, solely religious, social or fraternal organizations, charities that redistribute funds to other charitable organizations except recognized united-fund-type organizations, K-12 schools, political organizations or organizations primarily influencing legislation or promoting a particular ideological viewpoint, or operating budget deficits.
Who can apply: Applicants must operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable human service or health organization, governmental entity, or educational institution; operate under written governing documents or statutes; demonstrate effective program performance and financial responsibility; operate or provide services in Faulkner, Conway, Perry, and/or Van Buren counties; align with United Way of Central Arkansas's mission; address health and safety, education, and/or income stability; propose measurable goals, objectives, and an evaluation plan. Grant recipients must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, submit a written report 12 months after receiving the award, and acknowledge United Way in promotional materials. Current-year United Way Partner Agencies are ineligible, although prior and prospective Partner Agencies may apply.

Who can apply: Applicant must be a U.S.-based IRS 501(c)(3) charitable or educational organization or an accredited K-12 educational institution; be geographically located where OG&E operates; serve communities without discrimination on the basis of race, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation or national origin; and have a method to measure, track, and report program outcomes and specific results demonstrating measurable community impact. The foundation generally does not fund individuals or families, capital projects, dinners/luncheons, non-501(c)(3) organizations, political parties or candidates, religious activities that further doctrine, sports tournaments other than Special Olympics, or employee-benefit-related items.
Who can apply: Organizations must be nonprofit entities qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, located within Michigan and benefiting Michigan communities. Grants must serve charitable purposes and public benefit, and organizations may not discriminate based on age, creed, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The foundation generally does not fund capital projects unless initiated by the Foundation, fundraising events or conferences, individuals, K-12 schools, secondary schools or universities, lobbying or political campaigns, religious purposes unless initiated by the Foundation, units of government, or veterans organizations.
