The Foundation does not fund religious organizations, political efforts, or school-system clubs/entities such as boosters or PTAs. Organizations that have applied must wait 12 months before reapplying. Organizations cannot receive both a UFG Foundation grant and UFG sponsorship dollars in the same year.

Who can apply: Projects that fit Colcom Foundation's funding interests may be considered. National Carrying Capacity projects and environmental, conservation, cultural, and quality-of-life projects in southwestern Pennsylvania are supported. Applicants submitting a project that has not previously been funded by Colcom Foundation must begin with a Letter of Inquiry. Full applications require the most recent Form 990, audited financials or equivalent, an itemized project budget, and the Foundation's KPI table.
Who can apply: Nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with the foundation's mission, legacy grant focus areas, and other restrictions/deadlines. Applicants must complete an eligibility quiz before receiving access to the application form and submission instructions.
