Funding is prioritized for nonprofits located in or near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and may also consider nonprofits in or near UFG branch communities (Phoenix, Rocklin, Westminster, Ewing, Webster) as funds allow. The Foundation does not fund religious organizations, political efforts, or school-system clubs/entities such as boosters or PTAs. Organizations that have applied must wait 12 months before reapplying. Organizations cannot receive both a UFG Foundation grant and UFG sponsorship dollars in the same year.
