Who can apply: Applicants must be 501(c)(3) charities serving Palm Beach County residents, in good standing with the IRS, current with the Florida Secretary of State, and have filed a solicitation statement with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Audited financial statements are required. Charities located outside Palm Beach County, individuals, private foundations, religious or politically affiliated organizations, debt reduction or operating deficits, capital projects, and bridge funding are not eligible. National organizations must apply through a local chapter with a local board of directors and a project or program benefiting Palm Beach County residents.
