The request should not duplicate local services unnecessarily, should demonstrate sustainability and/or ongoing support when applicable, and generally may not be for individuals, churches or religious purposes, operating support, sponsorships, endowments, or marketing expenses. An organization should not submit a new application until prior grants are completed and final reports approved, with limited exceptions.
Who can apply: The Foundation prefers projects with a strong positive impact on communities, broad community reach, and demonstrated initiative, commitment, accountability, and long-term sustainability through local involvement. Applicants must be eligible nonprofits and submit an online application.
Who can apply: Indiana-based nonprofits, government organizations, or schools. General Grants are typically reserved for larger-scale projects. Applicants are encouraged to connect with BBF staff first before submitting a Preliminary Application.
Who can apply: Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) public charities that are not private foundations, governmental or other publicly funded entities, or organizations with a qualified tax-exempt fiscal sponsor. Projects must benefit Delaware County, Ohio residents. Grants are not made to individuals. Exclusions include non-secular/religious doctrine activities, academic or medical research, annual fundraising campaigns or events, endowment creation/additions, debt or legal settlements, and political or partisan purposes.
Who can apply: Established organizations located in North or South Carolina, classified as a public charity and qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation does not fund organizations with pending 501(c)(3) status, fiscal agents, individuals, scholarships, loans, political organizations, events, conferences, meetings, fellowships, seed money/start-up grants, or operating funds including salaries.
