The Darien Foundation — General Grant Program

Who can apply: Requests must be consistent with the Foundation's mission, fund a one-time project or initiative, and benefit residents of Darien, CT. Projects outside Darien, recurring or operating expenses, maintenance or ongoing upkeep, grants to individuals, endowments, general fundraising campaigns, political activities, and religious or sectarian projects are generally not considered. Projects must receive approval from the necessary Town Boards before funding. Applicants should provide a project description, requested amount, need, intended results, community benefit, organizational information, project budget, and current financial statements.
