Mini Grants (Humanities Nebraska)
Who can apply: Applicants must be Nebraska nonprofits with 501(c) or other 501 status, or government entities including public schools and libraries. Projects must have a central humanities focus, involve at least one humanities subject expert, take place in Nebraska or have direct significance to Nebraska, primarily serve Nebraskans, be free or nominal-fee public programs, and provide at least a 1:1 cash or in-kind match. Individuals, for-profits, fundraisers, lobbying, and projects without clear humanities content are ineligible.
Deadline: January 1, March 1, May 1, July 1, September 1, and November 1; the current homepage promotes a November 2, 2026 deadline. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m.; weekend or holiday deadlines move to the next business day.
