The N Robert Moore Charitable Fund concentrates almost all of its giving on postsecondary education, directing modest grants and scholarships primarily to regional Pennsylvania colleges and universities. Its support includes repeat gifts to public universities as well as contributions to smaller Catholic and regional private institutions, suggesting a focus on sustaining local higher-education access and scholarship opportunities. The foundation makes relatively small, targeted awards rather than large multi-year commitments.
Low-dollar, concentrated education giving: a small number of modest grants per year with several repeat grantees; largely directed to higher-education institutions rather than a broad array of causes.
