Community Funding & Sponsorship (general grants)

Who can apply: Organizations must hold tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code or have charitable equivalency status under applicable laws. Twin Lakes seeks to support organizations serving older adults in Alamance County. Applications should describe how the funding will be spent, how it relates directly to services for older adults, and the expected results and impact.

Deadline: October 15 and May 15 annually; requests received after a deadline are considered in the following cycle. Funding decisions are made approximately six weeks after each deadline.
