CARE For Kids Grant Program (Spring & Fall Cycles)

Who can apply: Applicants must be existing tax-exempt organizations serving children in Kern County and must submit proof of nonprofit status in the form of an IRS Determination Letter. Requests must describe beneficiaries, program goals, and participants; include an itemized list of requested goods or services; and provide vendor quotes or estimates. Administrative needs, including gas cards, salaries, and gift cards, are not eligible.

Deadline: Applications are due April 1 for the Spring funding cycle and October 1 for the Fall funding cycle. Grants are issued in April and October.
