Title: Grant Coordinator Job Type: Regular Company: Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division Department: Pharmacology & Therapeutics Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Works with Pharmacology & Therapeutics Department faculty to increase the number of high-quality grant submissions resulting in an increase in external funding for the department.

Overseas application preparation, including editing, formatting and revising grants; maintains centralized database of submitted applications.

Provides training and technical assistance for grant submissions to investigators and support staff as needed; assists with preparation of progress reports and submissions to sponsor and ensures Other Support documents remain current. Additionally, provides administrative support for the department and education program.

This position offers the opportunity to directly contribute to therapeutic antibody discovery programs advancing toward preclinical development. The pay range for the Grant Coordinator is $62,514 - $78,846 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role.

The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in grant preparation and editing; or 2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in grant preparation and editing.

NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. The preferred candidate should have a Bachelors’ degree and experience working in an academic/research environment.

The preferred candidate must have previous experience with preparing budgets and experience with preparing and working with grant submissions.

The preferred candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment; have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
