The application must be physically mailed, and proposals are capped at 3 to 4 pages. Realistic fit: small nonprofits in arts, health, or environment that can use a $2,000 to $5,000 flexible grant and don't mind a paper application process.

If your organization works in historic American art, the Wyeth Foundation is the clear priority. Mackler-Goding is a quick, low-lift application for a small flexible award — useful as a fill-in, not a centerpiece.
