Publication Support Grants

Fecha límite: 15 April and 15 November
The Uyttenboogaart-Eliasen Stichting is a specialized Dutch entomology foundation that supports the study of insects through research, fieldwork, publications, collections, and professional development. It most often funds projects that strengthen entomology in the Netherlands, but it will also support international work when there is a clear benefit to Dutch entomology or Dutch researchers. Distinctively, it combines small-to-moderate project grants with long-term support for collections, library resources, chairs, and occasional recognition awards for outstanding entomologists.
Primarily application-based grants with fixed review dates twice a year (15 April and 15 November), plus occasional invite-only recognition awards and professorial chair support. Grants are typically modest to mid-sized, with some named support programs and specific purpose restrictions; personnel costs are generally not covered for research grants.

Align proposals tightly to entomology and explain the direct benefit to Dutch insect science, institutions, or researchers. Apply by the twice-yearly deadlines (15 April or 15 November), include a detailed budget and project rationale, and for expeditions or travel grants be sure to document permits, scientific outputs, and why the work advances Dutch entomology.
