¿Quién puede postularse? Eligible projects are formally protected cultural monuments in Germany, especially those owned by private persons, private nonprofit entities, religious communities, municipalities or counties. Applicants may be owners, custodians (e.g. tenants or hereditary building right holders), nonprofit operating associations or foundations; non-owners may apply with written owner consent. Funding is discretionary and based on monument significance, urgency, degree of original fabric preservation, public interest, and the availability of funds. Commercial advertising at the monument excludes funding.
Fecha límite: Annual application deadline: 31 August for funding in the following year; decisions in Q1 of the following year. Disaster-damaged monuments may apply year-round.
