Funding for Holidays for Carers
¿Quién puede postularse? Applications must be made through a social worker, community nurse or similar professional agency. Eligible cases include carers seeking a break away from the person they normally care for, or in exceptional circumstances husband-and-wife/partner or adult-child/parent caring pairs wishing to holiday together, and UK family holidays where one or more family members has a severe disability. Applicants must not live outside the UK, be in prison, be in the UK unlawfully, have no recourse to public funds, or be refugees without legitimate UK status.
Fecha límite: Applications accepted while funds remain available; the charity states its annual income is limited and once exhausted no further grants are made that financial year (year end 31 December).
