Grants to Individuals

¿Quién puede postularse? Applicants must live in the area of benefit, have lived there for at least 6 months, be in permanent accommodation, and have indefinite leave to remain in the UK. Applicants should not be planning to move out of the area, have received a grant within the last two years, or have received 3 grants in the past. Applications require a sponsor who knows the applicant's situation.

Fecha límite: 2026 deadlines for £500 and under: 17 April, 29 May, 17 July, 4 September, 16 October, 13 November. For over £500: 17 April, 17 July, 16 October.

Grants to Organisations

¿Quién puede postularse? Applicants must be local charitable, voluntary or community organisations working to help people living within the area of benefit. Public sector bodies and national organisations are generally not accepted. Applications should be for specific, non-recurrent projects or equipment, not salaries, running/core costs or general appeals.

Fecha límite: 2026 deadlines for £3,000 and under: 10 July, 16 October. For over £3,000: 1 May, 31 July, 6 November.

Care Leavers Independent Living Fund

¿Quién puede postularse? Applicants must be young people leaving care from Reading Borough Council or Wokingham Borough Council and must have been in care with one of those councils for at least 12 months. Applications are only accepted from the care leaver's support worker.
