Grantmaking Program (Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District)
¿Quién puede postularse? Applicants must be public agencies, K-12 schools or academic institutions, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, or fiscally sponsored organizations. Individuals are ineligible. Projects must primarily benefit Midpen’s jurisdiction (San Mateo and Santa Clara counties). Fieldwork on Midpen preserves requires permits. Ineligible costs include fundraising, scholarships/fellowships to individuals, land acquisition, and costs incurred outside the project period. Prior grantees are eligible; regional collaboration and engagement with underserved communities are encouraged. No matching funds required.
Fecha límite: 2025 cycle example: Pre-proposals due October 31, 2025; full proposals (by invitation) due January 30, 2026 by 5:00 PM. Awards notified May 2026. Projects to be completed within two years. Program runs recurring annual cycles (e.g., 2023, 2025).
