Community Programs (Spring & Fall Funding)
¿Quién puede postularse? Preference is given to organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) status and/or qualified nonprofit groups. Applicants must have a local Board of Directors, be in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State, and use funds in the Acadiana Area. An audit or most recent IRS Form 990 may be requested. Non-exempt organizations must provide a detailed itemized purchase list, with purchases made directly by the Foundation; exempt organizations must provide a detailed intended-use budget. Funding is not available for fundraising or social events, research, deficit financing, conference or seminar fees, travel expenses, endowments, scholarships, television or radio program production, political campaigns, or lobbying.
Fecha límite: Spring applications are accepted January through April and must be postmarked by April 30; approved awards are distributed in June. Fall applications are accepted July through October and must be postmarked by October 31; approved awards are distributed in December.
