Acerca de Global Distribution Fund Inc (d/b/a D-Prize)
D-Prize seeds very early-stage social ventures that distribute proven, evidence-based solutions to extreme poverty, with a strong bias toward practical pilots over research or direct service delivery. It typically backs first-time founders and new organizations working in low- and middle-income countries, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, and it often funds ventures in global health, education, agriculture, and poverty-alleviation models that can scale. A distinctive feature is its challenge-based prize structure: teams compete for small seed grants, then receive follow-on support to build fundraising capacity and grow.
