International funder

Geographic focus

OKRE funds early-stage entertainment projects that use film, television, games, podcasts, and digital content to shift public understanding of social issues. Their distinctive model is cross-sector collaboration: they connect creative teams with researchers and people with lived experience to build stories that are both compelling and socially grounded. They appear especially interested in projects that tackle stigma, misinformation, and underrepresented experiences through genre storytelling and audience-facing formats.
