Speakers Bureau Reduced-Cost Bookings

Who can apply: Speakers are available to community groups anywhere in Kentucky. Reduced-cost events must be free to the public, and hosts are generally limited to one reduced-cost Speakers Bureau program until December 31, 2026. Minimum audience size is 25 adults. College sponsors may access the program only at full cost, and for-profit organizations may book at full cost. Performances must take place before October 31, 2026 because the Speakers Bureau is scheduled to close at the end of October 2026.

Deadline: Bookings are accepted for performances taking place before October 31, 2026. Reduced-cost bookings are limited and released throughout the year.

Kentucky Humanities Minigrants

Who can apply: Applicants must be registered Kentucky nonprofit organizations, institutions, or groups with an active SAM.gov registration in good standing and a UEI. For-profit organizations, individuals, political or advocacy organizations, and current Kentucky Humanities grantees are not eligible. Projects must be Kentucky-based or primarily serve Kentucky residents; be humanities-based; primarily serve the general public outside regular school or college classrooms; include guidance from a Principal Humanities Scholar who submits a letter of support and is not the Project Director; begin on or after December 1, 2026, conclude by November 30, 2027; and provide a 1:1 cost share. General operating costs, indirect costs, equipment purchases, construction, preservation, lobbying, and several other expenses are excluded.
