Impact Grants (annual $100,000 grants)

Who can apply: Must be a 501(c)(3) public charity for at least 36 months; based and operate in Chicago; provide the majority of services in Chicago; independently file IRS Form 990 (unless exempt by federal law); report total revenues between $1,000,000 and $8,000,000 in the most recent fiscal year; be independently and separately audited; use the full grant within 24 months. Previous $100,000 Impact Grant recipients may not reapply for three years.

Deadline: One grant cycle each year begins in September with the LOI; specific dates are announced on the Grant Process and Schedule page. Application is currently not open on the public grants page.
