About Friends of the Battalion
Friends of The Battalion was created to promote the long-term sustainability of The Battalion student newspaper as a living laboratory, which provides high-impact learning and pre-professional practice of job skills and student press innovation at Texas A&M University. Through mentorship, fundraising, networking and public education, Friends of The Battalion will work alongside current Battalion staffers to continue the publication's 129-year tradition of journalistic excellence into the future.
