Who can apply: Schools serving at least 80% Title I qualifying students are eligible. Access Books Bay Area only accepts schools for grant projects that have library staffing. Projects are for Bay Area public schools with high need and readiness to partner.
Deadline: Applications accepted on a rolling basis throughout the school year. Library refurbishment projects are conducted during the school year only, between late September and early May. Each grant project requires a few months of lead time.
