    Who can apply: Organizations serving Sarasota County, Charlotte County, DeSoto County, Boca Grande, Lakewood Ranch, or Longboat Key, Florida, and classified as tax-exempt public charities by the IRS are eligible. Individual schools, booster clubs, and classrooms are not eligible; only authorized representatives of the Sarasota, Charlotte, and DeSoto County School Districts may submit school-related requests. Faith-based nonprofits may apply for eligible activities, but funds may not support worship, religious instruction, or proselytization. Program support excludes medical research or disease-specific services, pass-through organizations, projects outside the service area, and programs launching without local partners. Event sponsorship excludes sporting tournaments, events with limited community reach, individual schools or booster clubs, and fundraising for another nonprofit.

    Deadline: Fiscal Year 2027 cycles: Summer May 1-June 30, 2026; Fall July 15-September 30, 2026; Winter October 15-December 31, 2026; Spring January 15-March 30, 2027.

    Who can apply: Eligible organizations must serve Gulf Coast’s Florida service area and generally be tax-exempt public charities. Strong proposals demonstrate meaningful lasting impact, address root causes, organizational readiness, clear implementation plans, strong collaboration, measurable outcomes, sustainability, and leverage. Receiving a Community Grant does not affect eligibility.

    Deadline: Fiscal Year 2027 deadlines: LOI September 14, 2026 and full application October 20, 2026; LOI March 15, 2027 and full application April 20, 2027.
