About this program

ApSeed provides custom-built, pre-loaded educational touchpads (Seedlings/ApSeed touchpads) at no cost to preschool-aged children through partnerships with childcare providers, school districts, Head Start, WIC, and other local/state agencies. Devices are intended to improve pre-K literacy and kindergarten readiness and are provided as take-home tools (devices do not connect to the internet and have no camera).

Who can apply

ApSeed partners with childcare providers, school districts, local or state agencies, and programs serving socio-economically disadvantaged children (federally‑sponsored Pre-K, Title I, Head Start, WIC). Devices are targeted to preschool-aged children (commonly ages 0–4).
