Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Helping Harvest seeks to partner with nonprofit organizations that want to establish a food pantry or other food program and become a member agency. Partner agencies can receive food and distribution support to help serve neighbors in need throughout Berks and Schuylkill Counties.
Who can apply
Organization must have 501(c)(3) status; food program must operate in an area currently under-served by Helping Harvest; program must operate out of a clean, appropriate facility with locked food storage; organization must pay a $50 annual membership fee and delivery fees; food services must be provided without regard to race, sex, creed, or religious affiliation and cannot require attendance at religious services or pledges in exchange for food.
