Young People & the Criminal Justice System
Who can apply: Applicants must be not-for-profit organisations with a registered UK office and a track record of working with young people in contact with, or on the edge of, the criminal justice system. In 2026, applicants must work with vulnerable young women and girls and either be led by and for women and girls or be issue experts in the specific focus areas. Minimum income £50,000 per annum; maximum income £5 million. Organisations must provide direct support; research-only work and restorative justice initiatives are not funded.
Deadline: Two rounds per year; first round closed and reopens in September; second round focuses on young women aged 17-30 and is expected in September 2026.
