Financial Help for Community Nurses

Who can apply: Registered community nurse or midwife, or retired/former community nurse or midwife; 3 full-time consecutive years of community nursing experience or 5 years part time; currently living in England, Wales or Northern Ireland and have worked in those areas; in financial difficulty following illness, disability or other life crisis; not on interim suspension, suspended, or dismissed; not previously awarded a grant in the past 3 years.

Deadline: Rolling; applications are considered individually.

Financial Assistance Grants (Financial Aid for Nurses)

Who can apply: Applicants must be registered community nurses or midwives (or retired/former community nurses or midwives) and have worked in the community for a minimum period (site references a minimum of three years). Applicants must not be under investigation by the NMC or employer where stated; each case is assessed individually.
