Who can apply: Applicants must be theatre writers resident in the British Isles and must have had at least one professionally produced production in the British Isles that meets the qualifying production criteria: cast of professional actors, paying audience, at least one hour duration excluding intervals, and not a one-off performance or workshop presentation. Applications from directors or producers on behalf of writers are not accepted. Writers of straight plays, musical book writers, lyricists, and writers for families and young people are eligible; composers and writers solely for media other than theatre are not supported.
