Community grants

Who can apply: Applicants must be based in the UK; be a group or organisation with a UK bank or building society account; have safeguarding policies, procedures, training and checks in place if working with children or vulnerable adults; conduct risk assessments as standard; have appropriate insurance; have a governing document or constitution; and produce annual accounts. Individuals cannot apply unless they have a business or organisation bank account. Projects must support deaf children and their families and align with NDCS funding aims and priorities.

Deadline: Rolling programme with set assessment dates; applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year.

National Deaf Children’s Society — Community Grants

Who can apply: Applicants must be UK-based groups or organisations with a UK bank or building society account, have safeguarding policy/procedures (if working with children/vulnerable adults), carry out risk assessments, hold appropriate insurance, have a governing document/constitution and produce annual accounts. Projects must be UK-based, not for profit, not already completed, and must not fund statutory services or reclaimable VAT. Projects should benefit deaf children and families (focus on 0-5 for this cycle).
