Who can apply: Any tenured or non-tenured researcher (scientist or clinician) excluding full professors, working in an eligible UK or Republic of Ireland institution with a guaranteed personal salary for at least the first three years of the award; applicants must hold a PhD or MD; applicants should have a minimum of three and a maximum of ten years’ post-doctoral research experience (allowances made for career breaks). Recipient need not be a UK national but must hold a position at a UK/ROI institution for at least the first three years.
