Hadrian Trust General Grants
Who can apply: Organisations must be based in the Trust's geographic area (Northumberland, Durham, Tyne and Wear, north of the River Tees). The Trust does not fund individuals, animal protection charities, medical research, national charities without a local base, national general appeals, or major capital building projects/repairs of buildings used solely for worship. Applicants must provide supporting documents (charity number or an administering registered charity/CVS for unregistered groups, annual accounts or governing document, bank statement, safeguarding policy).
Deadline: Trustees meet quarterly (usually January, April, July, October). Next meeting: 21 July 2026. Applications will close at noon on 23 June 2026 for that meeting. Applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the trustees' meeting.
