Grants Programme
Who can apply: Open to voluntary and community sector organisations in the North East of England, with emphasis on smaller local agencies, emerging groups, independent self-funded groups, and organisations delivering direct community benefit. Applicants may apply each year for projects or organisational funding. National organisations are only eligible if independently constituted and funded and delivering in the North East. Funding is not available for projects outside the area, capital works, money-raising appeals, statutory education and related travel or adventure projects, holidays (unless for personal or group development), conferences or feasibility studies, medical equipment or related projects, or general appeals.
Deadline: Applications for the 2026 round are closed. The 2027 grant funding round opens on 1 December 2026.
