Who can apply: Applicants must be organizations tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No grants are made to individuals. Government agencies and political organizations do not receive funding. Religious organizations are generally excluded unless they provide services for the local community. The Foundation does not support organizations that discriminate on prohibited bases.
Deadline: No formal application deadline; yearly funding cycle occurs in late fall. Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals no later than mid-September for consideration within that calendar year.
