Who can apply: Requests may be considered from 501(c)(3) organizations and governmental units. Preschools must have their 501(c)(3) determination letter, be non-denominational, and have an active open enrollment policy. Ineligible requests include political campaigns, religious purposes (except designated grants), graduate fellowships and travel grants to individuals, organizations not in good standing, and organizations with incomplete prior grant requirements or current grants not in good standing.
Deadline: December 31 and August 31 annually; grants submitted by December 31 are awarded in April of the following year, and grants submitted by August 31 are awarded in December.
