Kidney Care UK Patient Grants

Who can apply: For people severely impacted by kidney disease and living on a low income; must have eGFR less than 29% (CKD stage 4 or 5) or have received a transplant, including people on dialysis or receiving conservative care; UK legal resident; age 18+ or apply via adult/guardian; UK bank account; household finances summary; letter of support from a healthcare professional referrer such as renal social worker, consultant, or kidney team member.

Kidney Care UK Holiday and Respite Break Grants

Who can apply: For people severely impacted by kidney disease and living on a low income; must have eGFR less than 29% (CKD stage 4 or 5) or have received a transplant, including people on dialysis or receiving conservative care; UK legal resident; age 18+ or apply via adult/guardian; UK bank account; household finances summary; letter of support from a healthcare professional referrer.

Kidney Care UK Hospital Grants

Who can apply: Applications accepted from hospital trusts, renal units, KPAs and other associated bodies or organisations; funds must not be available from the hospital trust or relevant authority; projects considered core NHS provision are unlikely to be funded.

Deadline: Grants Committee meets twice a year; applicants must check website for exact submission deadlines. Applicants usually hear within eight weeks of a Grants Committee meeting.
