Who can apply: Applications are considered from schools and organisations with education projects benefiting children or young people under 30 who are permanent residents of Tower Hamlets or the City of London, in full-time education or studying for a recognised qualification, and from disadvantaged backgrounds or high-deprivation areas in those boroughs.
Deadline: Applications can be submitted throughout the year; there is no closing date, but they must be received in good time before meeting dates. Governors meet twice a year, usually in mid April and at the end of September.
