Who can apply: Formally protected cultural monument located in Germany; priority for monuments owned by private individuals, non-profit private institutions, associations, religious communities, municipalities or counties. Applicants must demonstrate need, damage/urgency, solid planning by experienced conservation professionals, monument-compatible measures, realistic financing, and that all relevant permits are in place. The applicant must generally be the owner or authorized party, or submit with written owner consent.

Deadline: Annual deadline: 31 August for funding in the following year; decisions in Q1. Catastrophe-damaged monuments can apply year-round.
