Who can apply: Eligible monuments must be officially listed as protected cultural monuments. Funding is primarily for the preservation of original fabric, requires serious preparation by experienced professionals, realistic financing, monument-appropriate use, and evidence that the owner is already contributing within their means. Preference is given to monuments owned by private persons, private institutions, support associations, church communities, and municipalities.
Deadline: Applications may be submitted annually until 31 August; emergency damage cases can be submitted year-round.
