Denkmalförderung
Who can apply: Eligible projects are formally protected cultural monuments in Germany, especially those owned by private individuals, nonprofit entities, religious communities, municipalities, or counties. Applicants may be owners or authorized holders (e.g., leaseholders, hereditary building right holders), nonprofit managing associations, or foundations; non-owners may apply with the owner's written consent. A formal application is required, and the project must have the necessary heritage and building permits. Applicants must exhaust available financing sources and generally not use the project for commercial advertising.
Deadline: Annual application deadline: 31 August for funding in the following year. Decisions are made in the first quarter of the year.
